Tempa’s searing, soulful voice is something to be felt and heard! She sings Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Zydeco, and you FEEL it when she sings it! With over 30 years of professional experience, Tempa knows how to entertain her audience.
Tempa has shared the stage with BB King, Mavis Staples, Koko Taylor, Tab Benoit, Jimmy Thackery, Bernard Allison, Luther Allison, Lonnie Brooks, Jeff Beck, and many others. Tempa has played Red Rocks to The Sea Of Galilee, and always gives her audience a music experience they never forget.

TEMPA AND THE TANTRUMS
2000 – 2012

Tempa and the Tantrums have been nominated for 5 Westword Music Showcase Awards and WON Best Blues Band in Colorado in the Westword Music Showcase Awards 2006. Tempa and the Tantrums have 3 albums. Hapi Scratch Records named their album “Voodoo & Angels” Blues Album of the Year for 2007. Tempa and her Tantrums hosted an award-winning Jam in Denver for 12 years. They toured Israel in 2008 and have performed in many major festivals in Colorado, the US and Israel.
2009
Tempa played for the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock at Red Rocks.
2011
Tempa Collaborated with Ori Naftaly and recorded a single in Israel for his album.
TEMPA & NAOR
2012 – Present

Released their debut album, "Embers Fire", in 2018. Their latest singles, “Burn The Page” and “Home,” showcase their soulful blend of Americana, SoulFolk, and Blues. They are currently working on their second original album, MoonFall.
SOUL KITCHEN MAUI
2012 – Present

Tempa and Naor moved to Maui in 2012 and started an 11-piece ZydecoSoul band called “Soul Kitchen” which Won Maui Time “Best Band on Maui 2017”. Soul Kitchen released their first album, “Live At Charley’s” on April 14th, 2019.

NAOR NAVE
Naor grew up in Kibbutz Ein Harod Ehud (Northern Israel). Inspired by his dad playing and singing to him he picked up the guitar at 12 years old and a few months later wrote his first original song. He has been writing and composing songs since then. Naor studied music and graduated from Overtone in Tel Aviv and while going to school auditioned for Israeli Idol.
At 23 he joined the Jewish agency as an Israeli ambassador and was a song leader at a Jewish summer camp called Camp-Wise In Sheridan Ohio for 2 Summers. He met Tempa in Colorado at a Jam session she hosted with her band Tempa and the Tantrums.
